Once upon a time there was a little girl named KC. She loved to sing. She sang songs about anything she could think about. She sang songs all day ad sometimes all night. She loved to sing songs and write songs about her life. KC was really talented. she had a voice of an angel and everyone knew it. Did you know that KC's parents are famous singers, too? Her mom's the country singer, Carrie Underwood and her dad is Luke Bryan. They help KC with a lot and KC knows a lot about singing and being on stage as she spends a lot of time with her mom and dad. She also knows a lot about being around a wide bunch of people on stage. KC feels upset when she does not sing and she feels happy when she does.
Dreams Crushed
KC was in the 5th grade and you know that in 5th grade they have chorus. so KC tried out for chorus and guess what, all that hard work paid off because she made it into chorus. So KC felt like a dream just came true so she made another dream and that was to make it to 5th grade all county chorus. KC was really happy as she wanted to be in all county and regular chorus so badly. KC thought that her whole life counted on being in both choruses. She went to try out for all county chorus on a Friday, but she wouldn't find out until Monday. She was singing all weekend nonstop because she was really nervous. Then Saturday went by and then Sunday. On Monday she found out that she did not make it into all county chorus. KC felt like the whole world had just ended. KC said she would never sing again. She also felt like she was not good enough to sing anymore. KC could not sleep that night because she felt like it was a nightmare that was forever long. She didn't know what to do. KC said that she was not going to let one thing mess up her whole life so she would make up a much better dream. Now KC is 19 and living a life being a famous singer that sings and writes songs about her life. Everyone is good at what they want to be. "Never switch from something you are really good at." Take this advice from a very famous singer, KC.
